Gays fight for funding in Senegal

The gay movement  in Senegal is fighting for recognition and access to funding in the struggle against HIV.  The organisation MSM (men who have sex with men) claims it has 400 members and works mainly underground as homosexulaity is illegal in Senegal.

The group has applied for a grant of $73,000 to deal with HIV in the gay community and help those who are already positive.
