Today marks three years of blogging and I think I will celebrate with some photos from sista Zanele’s new exhibition in Cape Town especially since there are some familiar faces that take me back to Joburg.

Beautiful work well done Zanele Muholi. South Africa needs courageous, powerful and brave womyn like you.
I’m always inspired by your work bcos it helps a lot in terms of black lesbian lives and visibility
Any plans of publishing a new book soon on this one?

Sokari,
I may like to know if there are any out (black) lesbian photographers in Johannesburg who are tackling similar issues like Zanele’s. If so, is there a way that one could hear their comments or opinion on how they do it.
