Bloody hell!!! All the One-In-Nine activists were asking for was one minute of silence! It deeply saddens me to see how the pride committee members treated these activists!!!! ‘It’s my parade’ one of the committee members rants!!! My parade, my ass!!! Amazing how her white privilege and sense of entitlement just screamed through! If I had been there I would have been on the ground with my sisters in solidarity!!!! The murder of black lesbians in South Africa is an issue ALL members of the SA queer community should be talking and speaking out about!!!! In fact, they should be OUTRAGED and protesting alongside the One-In-Nine campaigners and let their voice be heard instead of attempting to ride over them with their cars and motorbikes!!!!!!
