Poet and writer Chenjerai Hove was to give a lecture last week at Edinburgh University’s Centre for African Studies. Hove has a history of criticising the country’s president, Robert Mugabe, and was due to talk about censorship in Zimbabwe and how it had forced him to flee the country
Hove who is due to speak at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in August but has now threatened to pull out.
